I spent years in therapy, now I am down to minimal medication, one antidepressant which increases my seratonin level. Down from 14 pills a day, including lithium and klonopin. I am HERE DAMMIT! I refuse to give in, I will be who I am, and anyone who gets in my way had best look out. But, I am an extremely nonviolent person, I love my children and life, nature and the belief that we are better than all this. I could go on for hours, I also am a 6ft redheaded "amazon"...people have always called me amazon. {G} If you need more, I will give it...but I belong here.

As the child of two disabled parents (who performed their own act of rebellion in the sixties purely through marrying and having their own lives) I've experienced degrees of discrimination either personally or at one remove throughout my life. I am a firm believer in equal rights and just as importantly, equal opportunities.
